By joining us, you’re not just tasting a delicious tradition—you’re supporting a social project that helps rebuild Ukraine one bowl at a time. Dive in, discover how you can donate or get your restaurant involved, and be part of a global community cooking for a cause

Author of GoBorsch! — a Book That Opens Wings
I wrote “GoBorsch!” to help people remember their dreams, their courage, and their inner light. The book is available in five languages — Ukrainian, English, German, Italian, and French — so anyone in the world can feel its warmth
My Dream
To make Ukrainian borsch as loved and familiar as ramen — a dish that carries kindness, identity, and hope from one table to another

My story
I arrived in Cambridge with my youngest son in the spring of 2022, escaping the war and holding on to one quiet dream — to keep people warm, connected, and hopeful, even in the hardest times. This is how BorschToGo was born: from a desire to give comfort, build community, and let Ukrainian culture speak to the world through something simple and kind — a bowl of borsch
My Journey
-
Registered Borsch Limited in the UK in 2022
-
Awarded VISA Pioneers 2023
-
Received the BIPC Jumpstart Grant
-
Won the Cambridge City Council tender and opened a Ukrainian bistro in Parker’s Piece — a small place that warmed thousands of people with food and human connection
-
Later created BorschToGo CIC to grow our social mission and help even more communities
Our Borsch is:
-
delicious - adapted to the local tastes
-
useful - preserves vitamins of vegetables (cabbage, carrots, beets, tomatoes, peppers, onions, apples)
-
vegan, but enriched with protein
due to the addition of lentils -
cheap and convenient for consumption in take away format
-
fast-cooking (20 minutes)

Serving consumers with healthy
options and helping food business owners to increase soup sales
to existing customers and attract new audience by taking the stance of being a part of a great deed
How it works
The cafes and restaurants joining the system add £x to the price of borsch, which is our fee that we use to build
global brand and fund restoration of Ukraine
